Jacqui Dunnley-Wendt has been working in the world of musical theatre for many years. Following her successful career as a dancer and performer, she has become a leading director and choreographer. During her career which has led her from London’s West End to Vienna, through all of Germany and out to South Korea, South Africa and South America, she has worked with many of the industry’s leading names, including Gillian Lynne, Rob Roth, Matt West, Anthony Van Laast and Susan Stroman. As associate director and associate choreographer, Jacqueline has been artisticly responsible for various international stagings of the original Broadway production of Disney’s BEAUTY AND THE BEAST.

Highly experienced director & choreographer

Her credits as director, choreographer and resident director is extensive and includes internationally acclaimed productions such as CATS, Disney’s BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, WITCHCRAFT – THE MAGIC OF CY COLEMAN, HIGH FIDELITY, SIDE SHOW and THE PRODUCERS.

Next to her work as Artistic Director for Musical Creations Entertainment, Jacqueline teaches many workshops and master classes and is a regular guest teacher at various Universities of the Arts and colleges, including Stage School Hamburg, Hamburg School of Entertainment, Folkwang Universität der Künste, Essen and Det Danske Musicalakademi in Fredericia, Denmark.

In 2013, Jacqueline Dunnley-Wendt directed and choreographed the first German production of Disney CAMP ROCK – THE MUSICAL at Kampnagel theatre in Hamburg where she worked in the same position for the 2014 production of Hairspray JR.
